Dash camera video captured someone throw a lit firework into a car stopped at a Nashville intersection on the night of July 4.
The driver suffered burns and the car was heavily damaged.
The incident was filmed by the victims nephew on his dashcam when they stopped on Charlotte Avenue after the fireworks in Nashville.
Metro Police are investigating.
