The children’s grandmother Angie Cason tells sources the seven-month-old twins Ryan and Rieligh were swept away when flood waters hit their apartment complex in town.
Cason says her daughter and son-in-law were there with their four children when a rush of water suddenly hit.
The mother was swept away, but managed to make it to safety.
The father grabbed the twins along with their five-year-old and 19-month-old.
The force of the water tore the twins from the father’s arms.
Cason says she was told the two babies went under and disappeared.
The area around Waverly remains in emergency status and there is no word on search or recovery efforts.
I could not reach first responders or the Humphreys County sheriff because cell service is down in the area.
Obviously, the family is heartbroken … as they wait for more news.
THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.

“I personally was in the presence whenever the devastating update had to be broken to the parents that the children were found deceased. A moment I’ll never forget. My heart truly goes out to you and your family.”
